Agent setup

## Onboard your AI coding agent to DoDomain

Copy one sentence into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode or GitHub Copilot. The agent fetches DoDomain's setup instructions, connects itself to the DoDomain MCP server, installs the right SDK, and verifies the result.

[Add to Claude](https://claude.ai/directory/a7fc39a1-9ea8-48f0-9d66-2ac84f2508d1)

**Fastest, if you use Claude:** opens DoDomain's listing in Claude's connector directory. Click Connect, then approve the DoDomain sign-in. It syncs to Claude Desktop and mobile.

**Using ChatGPT?** [Open DoDomain in ChatGPT](https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plugin_asdk_app_6a7ae2ab834c8191a93649ac23775d1f), click Connect, then approve the DoDomain sign-in.

[Add DoDomain to Claude](https://claude.ai/directory/a7fc39a1-9ea8-48f0-9d66-2ac84f2508d1): one click opens DoDomain's listing in Claude's connector directory.

Onboard your agent to DoDomain: paste this sentence into any AI coding agent.

```
Fetch and execute the appropriate instructions to set me up for DoDomain from https://dodomain.io/agent-setup/prompt.md
```

The instructions are plain Markdown at [https://dodomain.io/agent-setup/prompt.md](https://dodomain.io/agent-setup/prompt.md). Read them first if you like; the agent runs exactly those commands.

### What you get

- **The DoDomain MCP server** at `https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp`, with OAuth sign-in and 68 tools that cover every dashboard action.
- **The SDK for your stack**: @dodomain/node, dodomain-sdk, @dodomain/connect, @dodomain/react, with the secret key read from `DODOMAIN_SECRET_KEY`.
- **A verified setup**: the agent calls `list_apps` and the REST API before it reports back.

### Set it up by hand

- #### Claude Code

  1. 1. Register the DoDomain MCP server

     ```
     claude mcp add --transport http dodomain https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp
     ```

  [Full Claude Code guide](https://dodomain.io/agent-setup/claude-code)
- #### Codex

  1. 1. Register the DoDomain MCP server

     ```
     codex mcp add dodomain --url https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp
     ```
  2. 2. Sign in to DoDomain (opens the browser for the OAuth consent)

     ```
     codex mcp login dodomain
     ```

  [Full Codex guide](https://dodomain.io/agent-setup/codex)
- #### Cursor

  1. 1. Add the server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (all projects) or .cursor/mcp.json (this project only). If the file exists, merge the dodomain entry into its mcpServers object.

     File: `~/.cursor/mcp.json`

     ```
     { "mcpServers": { "dodomain": { "url": "https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp" } } }
     ```

  [Full Cursor guide](https://dodomain.io/agent-setup/cursor)
- #### OpenCode

  1. 1. Add the server to opencode.json in the project root (or ~/.config/opencode/opencode.json for every project). If the file exists, merge the dodomain entry into its mcp object.

     File: `opencode.json`

     ```
     { "$schema": "https://opencode.ai/config.json", "mcp": { "dodomain": { "type": "remote", "url": "https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp", "enabled": true } } }
     ```
  2. 2. Sign in to DoDomain (opens the browser for the OAuth consent)

     ```
     opencode mcp auth dodomain
     ```

  [Full OpenCode guide](https://dodomain.io/agent-setup/opencode)
- #### GitHub Copilot (VS Code)

  1. 1. Add the server to .vscode/mcp.json in the workspace. If the file exists, merge the dodomain entry into its servers object.

     File: `.vscode/mcp.json`

     ```
     { "servers": { "dodomain": { "type": "http", "url": "https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp" } } }
     ```

  [Full GitHub Copilot (VS Code) guide](https://dodomain.io/agent-setup/vscode)

Any other MCP client: add a remote Streamable HTTP server with the URL `https://app.dodomain.io/api/mcp`. Sign-in is discovered from the URL. [MCP server guide](https://dodomain.io/docs/connecting-ai-assistants)

### Verify

After signing in, ask the agent to call the `list_apps` tool: it lists the apps on your team. To check a secret key, run:

```
curl -s https://app.dodomain.io/api/v1/apps -H "Authorization: Bearer $DODOMAIN_SECRET_KEY"
```

Success is HTTP 200 with a JSON body of the form {"apps": [...]}: a secret key sees exactly its own app, with its id, name and publishable key.

### Start on the free plan
