Pricing

DoDomain pricing: published, self-serve, no quote-only wall.

You pay for verified domain connections and nothing else. DoDomain never proxies your traffic, so there is no bandwidth meter, no per-request charge, and no certificate line item — the connect flow, authoritative-DNS verification, signed webhooks and drift monitoring are in every tier, starting with $0 forever.

The three plans, side by side.

Every tier includes the full connect flow, authoritative verification, signed webhooks and ongoing monitoring. What changes between them is monthly connections, applications, and API throughput.

Monthly verified-connection allowances come from the same plan definitions the application itself uses. No sales call is required for these self-serve tiers.

How the quotas work

Verified connections per month is a billing quota, not a rate limit, and it is a hard cap on every plan: once your team reaches it, new session creation is refused with 402 quota_exceeded until the next billing month or an upgrade. Connections you already have keep working and keep being monitored — only NEW connect sessions are refused, and there is no overage billing.

A connection counts once, on its first successful verification. Re-verification, a domain breaking and recovering, or a disconnect and reconnect never count again.

API requests per minute is a per-app abuse guardrail on the authenticated /api/v1 surface, enforced on a fixed one-minute window on every plan — not a billing line.

The operator-facing version of this table, including the webhook-endpoint limit and the exact monitoring cadence, lives in the docs: Pricing and quotas.

How this compares

DoDomain sits at the DNS layer: it gets your customer's records created and proves they are live. Vendors that terminate traffic on those hostnames — issuing certificates and routing to your tenants — solve the half after that, and they are complements rather than alternatives. We keep the sourced, dated comparisons on their own pages:

Frequently asked questions

How much does DoDomain cost?

Free is $0 forever and includes 50 verified domain connections per month. Pro is $29 per month ($24 per month, billed annually) with 500 connections per month, and Scale is $99 per month ($82 per month, billed annually) with 2,500. Annual billing saves 2 months free on the paid plans. Every tier is published and self-serve — there is no quote-only tier.

Is there a free plan, and does it need a card?

Yes, and no card. The Free plan is $0 forever with 50 verified connections per month, 1 app, and the complete product: every connect tier (Cloudflare one-click, Domain Connect where the provider has enabled it, guided manual setup), authoritative-DNS verification, signed webhooks, and DNS drift monitoring.

What counts as a verified connection?

A connection counts once, on its first successful verification. Re-verifying the same session, a domain breaking and recovering, or disconnecting and reconnecting never count again — you pay for connections made, not for verification traffic. A connection from an earlier month that recovers today does not land in this month's total either.

What happens if I go over my monthly connections?

Creating a NEW connect session returns 402 quota_exceeded until the next billing month or an upgrade. Nothing you have already connected is affected: existing connections keep working and keep being monitored. There is no overage billing — you are never charged for connections beyond your plan.

Do webhooks, monitoring or the MCP server cost extra?

No. Signed webhooks, automatic DNS drift monitoring of verified connections, and the remote MCP server for AI assistants are included on every plan, including Free. Webhook endpoints are not plan-gated either — every plan gets the same per-app limit.

Does the price include SSL certificates?

No, because DoDomain is never in the request path. It writes and verifies the DNS that points your customer's domain at your infrastructure; TLS terminates at your own host (Vercel, Cloudflare for SaaS, Approximated, Caddy, nginx). That is why there is no bandwidth or per-request line on this page — see dodomain.io/docs/ssl.

Can I change plans or cancel?

Yes. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually and can be cancelled at any time from the subscription-management email. Downgrading keeps your existing connections and their monitoring; only the monthly allowance for new connections changes.
